Default Meteor Shower/ Perseidas

On the main Spain forum there is a thread with this information.

Also,

Pull up a sun lounger and have a great view from a terrace (preferably away from any street lights) or at the beach from 21.30 onwards, I should think!
(I'll be watching from the Northern hemisphere.)

Sadly we had clouds..... but a couple of weeks ago we saw an amazing meteor. Easily the best I'd ever seen. We were in Kent in a village B+B no light pollution - and saw this HUGE meteor, tracking slowly across the sky comlpete with the red-burning head and a small reddish glow surrounding it. Just like the movies Fantastic...

Hoping that someone out there is enjoying the perseid meteor shower

"No-one would have believed....." and "slowly and surely they drew their plans"

At least the 'summer sun will be fading' and it will be 'Forever Autumn' - nice time to be in CE, as it can get pretty hot in CE over the summer

Jon

PS Watch out for the 'red weed' lots of police patrols

From Jamie's report back the only place to be yesterday was in the pool arrived at 10.00am in the pool by 10 past and only got out to go down to jags for lunch and then later across to the shop for a bit of tiffin for tea. Oh the good life these young things lead! Even Elsabete said it was too hot and humid as well.
