Default Maternity Pay

Hi guys, wondering if someone could help me out with a query.

My wife is due our first baby in March and we have lived in Marbella for the past 2 years where my wife is working as a teacher, her contract runs until the end of February, does anyone know if she would be entitled to maternity pay?

Unfortunately as the contract runs out before the birth then I think she will not be eligible for maternity pay

But you should go and check in your local social security office
