Hi,

I need to get our Spanish registered car to an ITV testing station and have heard that some local garages offer a service to take the car for you and get it tested.

Does anyone know of a garage that does this, preferably near Son Caliu/Palma Nova?

Apparently there are currently major problems getting an ITV appointment anywhere in Spain. In Ibiza the earliest appointment is in June.

That's not great, looks like our ITV will expire before I can get an appointment.

Seems to be the same in Mallorca, despite the fines the government threatened them with.

It's nutty. Print a copy of your cita previa (with the dste you applied for it) and keep it in the car, so that after your ITV expires and you're stopped by the police, you have evidence that you made every effort to follow the law.

It must be very local then. I managed to book a test for a minibus 2 days ago for January 31st. There are 4 test centres in Bizkaia.
