Default Madrid Hotel recommendations required

Hi everyone,

Just popped in to ask if anyone had any recommendations for a romantic, centrally based hotel in Madrid that won't cost a fortune. Friends from Greece have been in touch and are wanting to honeymoon there, so I promised I'd ask and get back to them.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks,
Martha

Try the "Emprador" on the Grand Via you can't get much more central and it has a very nice pool on the roof where they serve super lunches.
