Default LPG gas supplies

How common is the availability of LPG gas for vehicles. Looking to replace our car and wonder if LPG is a viable option. Were moving to the Costa Del Sol near Marbella.

Can anyone recommend a supplier.

There are not many LPG stations around: Hence it is not worth it.

Someone asked me about this a couple of years ago and at that time I found a list of stations on either the Repsol or Cepsa website. I just had a quick look now and can't find anything so maybe they've given up on the idea.

Spain is decades behind when it comes to LPG cars , its not worth converting your car yet, and if you do remember that if it dose not have the relevent certificates it will fail the ITV test , they will not recognise systems fitted outside of Spain even if they are CE approved

Back in 1980 taxis in Valencia were running with a red butano cylinder strapped in the boot.

Alternatively, but a car with it's ITV then have it LPG converted in France or UK then sell it before its' next ITV is due.

Many thanks for all the replies, think the general opinion is not to bother, think we will look out for a diesel instead.
