Re: Looking for Doctors?
Are there any recommendations other than Clinica Rincon?
I made an appointment for my wife for Friday, 11 December with Clinicas Rincon in Nerja with a Dematologist (Dr. Muñoz). Our appointment was for 4 p.m. We arrived and were waiting outside his office (room 9) at 3:30. The door was closed, and we were told by the receptionist to wait until the doctor called us by name. Shortly after we arrived, the doctor and a patient left the office together. After we arrived, a Spanish family arrived, and were waiting to see the same doctor. Finally, right at 4 p.m., a Spanish man arrived and took a seat in the same waiting area. The doctor returned very shortly after and closed his door. He then came out and asked who was there to see a dermatologist (all of us were). He took the last man to arrive and said very tersely that that man had been the first to arrive, when in fact he had been the last. At his point the Spanish family got up in obvious disgust and left. Because we had driven a half hour to the clinic, and been waiting now for 45 minutes, we decided to continue waiting. When the patient came out of the office, he started calling off several other names, none of which were ours. At this point we were enraged and left the waiting room. At the reception we asked to speak to the Director/Manager of the clinic in order to make a formal complaint. All 3 of the people working at the reception heard our request (in Spanish) and did nothing to even acknowledge our presence.
It was obvious to us that they book several people with the same doctor for the same time. The lack of acknowledgement by the reception staff was simply without excuse. We will fly back to the UK and see our GP before we return the Clinica Rincon in Nerja.

Clearly you had a bad experience. I have used them for many years and never had any problem like you describe.
