Long term villa rental, Javea
Hello,
We are planning to come to Javea from the end of April, 2014 for about a year, to sample the Spanish lifestyle, with a view to staying longer after that.
We're looking to rent a villa initially. We would like a 3 bed minimum, 2 bath and it's own pool. A good ouside space is a must too. We like spacious, open plan type properties.
Can anyone recommend a rental company, or a private villa they know of, or anywhere else we could try?

I gave used Bemax in the past for short term rentals and they were ok. I'm not sure how specialised in long term rentals they are though. You might have problems getting a long term rental in April because that's heading into the holiday season, when short term rentals are more lucrative.

Hi we have just returned to our home in France after let us say a not very good experience of renting for six months in Javea. We used local agents and if the laws of libel were not present we would truly outline our experience. But of course our experience our values are not necessarily anyone elses.
We had multiple problems and in our view it is difficult to know with whom one is dealing for the agents tend to spread their 'villas' around and we had after signing the agent saying sorry your problem is not ours it is not our client we just moved it on for someone else. The client did not enter into a mtce contract with us so please email in Denia.
If you were able we would pm you with in our view only those not to deal with.
Just our experience of a terrible time rental wise in Javea.
Research research and ask direct questions and believe nothing agents say to you. Their first objective and in our view is to line their back pockets for in fairness they too have to live and eat and drink!
We would not rent or buy in or around Javea and for the above and other reasons.
