Default long term rental's on the Costa Del Sol

Hi,

Can anybody recommend any good letting agents that deal with the Duquesa/Estepona/Manilva area, or better still any websites/online newspaper's where you can rent direct from the owners.

Thankyou.

Time of contract makes no difference if it is not worded right, 11 months is a myth.
If it is not a holiday let then you can stay for up to 5 years if you have paid the rent.

I haven't met any agents or landlords who are willing to tie in longer than 11 months, whether the legal side of it is myth or not (if I have understood you correctly).

As a landlord, I have issued contracts of longer that 11 months!

I'm not sure that I totally agree with JDR - "short term tennancy agreements" do exist here are are used by most agents and are accepted by the courts.

I was saying that it must be stipulated that it is a short term let regardless of the length up to one year., otherwise the tennant has rights to stay for 5 years. FREE BEER
