My thoughts exactly. The locals here won't tell you, but Andalucia can be cold, damp and wet in the winter. Great if you have a good source of heating, but most haven't, and the properties there can be really cold and damp. The Canaries is a good suggestion if good winter weather is your main consideration.

Hi Agoreira
We had thought about the Canaries but have decided against moving there because of the distance between our children and grand children.
Thats why we have decided on settling on the main land, its purely to do with the distance, or other wise the Canaries would be the place.
