Living the DREAM?

Helen,
I am not sure whether I am teaching you to suck eggs or not, if not then check out to see what your are classed as or what you have put yourself down for in the section Autonomo
Because not every Autonomo pay's the same rates some are cheaper than others, as I think I have said on here before somewhere.
If you for instance your Autonomo had you down in selling and buying Bijouteriait is one of the lowest rates you can pay
.......yet you can still handle cash obviously for buying and selling, all you have to do is change your job title
Ask your Gestor, he should show you the different rates for different jobs
.....take advantage of it now because it isn't going to last, as it is wide open to abuse obviously

It is so nice to hear that other people - do / have / are feeling the same! Thank you for so many nice comments, certainly made me feel better.
I have no intention of going back to the uk, believe me, we left because of all the reasons that have been mentioned and more, despite having a good job/career at the time, it was the right time to move. Today has been a downer me thinks and tomorrow is another day. I may be able to solve some of the problems with a clearer head, I hope so or life will be very difficult.
Once again, thank you everyone, I appreciate the kind words.

You could come back to Blighty, pay through the nose for the dentist, petrol, food, all utilities, not to mention council tax, risk getting mugged by hooded thug kids aged 12, shot at, if you live in the city, choked with exhaust fumes, wait on a 'waiting list' to go on a waiting list for any operations, you could do all of that, and do it in the rain!!!!
One day feeling miserable in four years isn't too bad I probably feel like that 4 days a week!!!
Chin up Chuckie!!!
Oh but I grant you the telly is better!! lolol

I heard yesterday of another couple going back............well at least the wife & daughter are...he, however is staying here.
I thought they were a rock solid couple - I don't know the ins & outs of their situation, but they are just the most recent of quite a few couples I know whose marriages have been the victim of the 'dream'

This particular couple came here from good, well-paying jobs in the UK, to struggling here, so I'm sure that was a factor - I just think it's extra sad when the children end up living in a different country from one of the parents.
I think many couples come out thinking a struggling relationship will improve in the sun, which of course it probably won't - any more than having a babay would improve their relationship.

If its bad to start or not 100% then when money probs start thats the end for sure .. plus the stress and a new country tips them over the edge maybe .
