We've used Liberty for three years now for household and car (3) insurances.
Prices competitive and last year him indoors had an argument with a cement lorry while in his Merc and Liberty's assessor went to the body shop the day after the claim was put in and okayed the estimate there and then, and even gave the bodyshop a cheque on the spot!

It took eight weeks, though, to get the work completed - but that wasn't Liberty's fault, it was ours for picking that particular body shop. Obviously, as they'd been paid they didn't care. Surprise surprise!!!

So there y'go - we find 'em fine

I'm saying nothing except that I wouldn't change to them from my current insurer even if I am paying double.

€200 cheaper than my Mapfre renewal!
We are insured with Knight/Liberty Seguros.

Very good service and price + we have had an accident and gone through the procedure for that, Knight were very good and we got it all sorted without any hassle.

What do you mean. I asked the question because I wanted to know, so saying nothing isn't really very helpful!

If you are driving a UK plated car around Spain then you should be paying quadruple rates! I have no sympathy I'm afraid.

I am still amazed how they can insure a car that is illegally in the country.

that's the trouble, though, isn't it?

some people get away with it for years!

I personally know several ( and recognise many) people who have lived & worked here full time for years, driving the same UK plate car every day

others, as our friend spain has said in previous threads, get caught out & their cars impounded pretty quickly
