Good advice. Locally, more are attempting to sell up at the moment. But I have to say, those are mostly the people who have been 'under the radar' for years, I think they realise the game is now up. Again locally, evidence suggests the British notion that 'they need us more than we need them', is yet another form of 'Grey sky thinking'. The myriad of British 'long term' tourists / house hunters in my area have declined hugely in the past twelve months since the Brexit vote (bloody good show in some cases, too!), guess what, we still survive, houses still sell, shops still stay in business, we are not reduced to a wasteland............... vastly more Belgian, Dutch, French and even Americans have replaced them. I expect that will be the story of Brexit!!
Leaving 'Rule Brittania' and the 'Good old days of the Empire' behind (because they are)The UK needs to wake up to the fact that they are a very small cog in a huge machine, and when they leave the machine they will still be the very small cog, with nothing worthwhile to 'mesh' with.

Given the confusion and indecision by the British Government, the latest leak of information was probably a controlled leak to test the waters. Despite everything, 63% of the population did not vote to leave the EU so they still have to tread very carefully. There is a reason why Corbyn describes himself as "Prime Minister in waiting". He has figured out that they are about to botch it all up. The government themselves now need to realise this. An early test will be how they deal with the Northern Ireland border. No definitive solutions as yet.
