Lanzarote - Buying Property - Legalities
I have fallen in love with a property in Lanzarote, near Ye. This is a property that is recognized in the spanish catastro but it is not in the registro.
It cannot be added to the registro as it is inside the national park.
The property itself has been there "for ever" and I believe it unlikely to be declared illegal.
It has electricity and water.
Question is, what is your experience with such properties that are not in registro? Apart from the fact the banks will not give financing because of it, any other issues you foresee?

You need to take advice from a independent Canarian lawyer.
