I realise that there are some of you who can't survive without your ITV soaps.
IF and when ITV becomes unavailable by satellite. There's now a completely legal way for expats to keep viewing.

Some reports simply say that it is only for those two soaps, but other reports have said that other content will also be available. Would seem strange to launch it just for the two soaps and not other content. Also seem strange that it was launched on Tuesday, but only announced on Wednesday!

This is excellent news pity BBC don´t do it too. I presume we would then be able to play it on the telly with a cable.

Yep, I get around 8MB, but quite a few can't get anywhere near that, and that's why some won't believe that internet HD TV works just fine

For the last 2 years you have been able to subscribe to BBC IPlayer Global, offering a selection of BBC programmes for a fee for people living outside the UK.
However, this will soon cease, and it will be moved to a "bbc.com"

But as I understand the content was pretty rubbish.
