Many of those jobs advertised on agency websites are pie in the sky anyway. Most don't exist. If they did there are spanish people capable of doing them...why don't they! See the photos today outside the jobcentre in madrid, are you implying they are idiots or shirkers
Unemployment is 33.63% in málaga province which is where most folks seem to be heading....then Stevies comes out with "nearly as bad as the UK"

You are becoming obsessed, and most of the posters who are asking about work in Spain on this forum, dont speak Spanish and would not even understand what the job are.
I take it as a bit smug coming from a non resident like yourself pointing out how many jobs there are for people, when a lot of the native population I know are without jobs or fearful of losing the ones they have.
It just seem abit hypicritical, knowing that as you couldnt hack it here, you went back to the UK and now from the comfort of your armchair, and telling others that there are plenty of jobs.

There are 9 million economically inactive people of working age in the UK. Spain may have a different way of counting the unemployed, but it's getting just as bad in the UK.
The good news is there are lots of jobs (in Spain and in the UK), just they need skills that many of us haven't got.
If you follow this jobs list on Twitter there are loads of jobs, but many of them need specialised IT/Web or managerial skills https://twitter.com/#!/list/MigginsPies/spainjobs
Just a few of the offerings on the list over a few minutes:

You must not forget that a lot of jobs they are free because, other people have lost the job because not to give permanent job to them by the company.
I know this for experience myself, it happed before, many times.
A short contract of try, and then out of the door, then another person got for the job, and then 6 months and out too.

Just a guess, I am rarely wrong. Why doesn't Stevie get one instead of dreaming in the UK

Nice to see the old "knockers" come out with their rubbish! They ask me why I don't tell those unemployed to get those jobs advertised... read what I wrote, before putting your mouth in it

Spanair just gone bust......

Stevie maybe you can send the twitter link to the staff of spanair who have just lost their jobs, they could possibly teach business English in Madrid at 34 euros an hour.
I am sure they will appreciate your help and optimism.

I always thought Wales was a true paradise from your Spain knocking posts here. Yet it seems people are flocking to get away. How come, if it's as perfect there as you keep claiming?

Wake up and smell the coffee, it's happening in more than just southern Europe.
There are jobs out there (in Spain like elsewhere), but they need specific skills.

You really are a complete idiot. I'm not going to go to staff of Woolworths, Northern Rock, Barratts shoes or various other companies either. As I've stated several times altready (maybe the message will sink in your dense brain on the fourth reading, it's niche sectors that is hiring big-time, but they need specific skills. Have you got it yet, or are you completely beyond help?
