Rosemary There are lots of opportunities in China and the rest of Asia for Europeans, no need for her to confine her ambitions to Spain. One of my OH's nephews has just relocated to France having spent the last 5 years as Asia Sales Manager for a large chemicals company, based in Kuala Lumpur but travelling all around the region. He made a point of learning Mandarin when he arrived there, I'm sure the people he was doing business with would have spoken English but the fact that he had made the effort to learn probably helped him form better business relationships. One of the OH's friends also has a son who owns a language school in China. |
