Hi are there any treads on here for long term rentals in costa del sol? My husband and I are looking to come over and rent for a period of 3 months at the beginning to 2014, with a view if all goes well to renting for a much longer period of time. We are looking for a 2/3 bedroom property close to restaurants/bars/shops/hospitals/golf, approx 10/15 min drive to a beach
would appreciate any information you could give regarding approx price I should be looking at Thanks

If you are not looking for work, you are away in a hack canter immediately. A two bedroom apartment/duplex off season would cost you around €500 per month (electricity charges extra). This would be good quality, centrally located accommodation within three minutes walk to the beach.

The same in the Canarie Isles..€500 gets you 1 or 2 bedroom apartment for the month all in..

this year the weather has been as bad as the UK, Granda city had snow in late February. Rain has been brought in for 4 months especially for the Brits because the Spanish know how much we miss it. Reservoirs are now being partially emptied because they have too much water. Bad weather has caused massive erosion of the beaches in parts of the CDS. Similarly people have had mud deluges through their houses. Only a week ago Malaga had the roof off an old (but refurbished) palace with the roof tiles ending up on 3 cars in the street below. Main roads have been shut because the surface broke up and drifted away.
one of our neighbours is most ticked off as he hasn't been on the golf for most of that period.

But you never know, next winter may be really nice.....................
