1. Iphone 3G with movistar. 989 euros. ( 149 for the phone + 35€ per month for 2 years) OR

2. Iphone 1st generation 410€ unblocked (but still brand new with 1 year guarantee) delivered to my door.

Unblocked means jailbroken. Every time Apple release a firmware revision they WILL attempt to brick your jailbroken phone.

And don't forget that those prices are damned expensive... remember that the first gen was half price or less in the UK a few months ago to clear stocks and build up demand for the 3G. I'll bet most stocks ended up being bought up by places like this!

As for the second gen - I've already seen someone buy a 3G iPhone at ECI - and it definately comes up at 499 on the till with a discount then applied according to tariff. This should give you an idea what a PAYG iPhone will be when they are released later in the year - half the price that your website wants!!

Get the Nokia N95 all the gizmo's with 5mp cam worth looking at. The French iphone does not have any dedicated provider and is therefore sold any simm card use. That is French law I do not know how much they are but worth thinking about as all new firmware will be uploaded no problem and you can use all the functions apple intended you to use. Check on E-Bay.

Still waiting for the call for mine... :curse:

On the other hand, one of my employees is on his fifth one - O2 keep sending replacements because of woeful 3G reception issues.
