I have a tv that i only use for dvd's as i have no outside ariel. Would an interior ariel work - here in uk argos seem to have a big selection would one of them work just to pick up some spanish tv?

How long is a piece of string.

If your house has clear line of sight of a transmitter, maybe.
Otherwise you probably need to be on the roof or as high as possible.

In any event a UK ariel may not be a good match for Spanish frequencies.

Recently we rewired our house for TV and whilst that was happening we used an indoor aerial which we had brought from UK - no problem at all.

A better reply might be :- Go outside and look at the aerials on neighbours roofs; If they are very long poles to get as high as possible - NO otherwise maybe you might get lucky. Also look at the direction they are all pointing (assuming only one way). Is the TV to be used on that side of the house?

Also ask neighourss - especially if they live in apartments or have teeenage children

It depends where you are.

I have an outside aerial serving my main TV. I also have 2 amplied internal aerials for other TV's. These are around 45db gain and work perfectly once you get them located in the right position.

Many aerials are sold with much less gain and are not as effective.

UK aerials are fine, just buy the best.
