I am intending to buy a LHD car in UK to drive down to Spain and become permanent resident. I have NIE and own property so am looking for guidance on the procedure. The vehicle will be approx 3-4 years old. I do know that the process is getting simplified due to new EEC regs. but would welcome any recent info anyone has.

We found it quite easy to do, I believe now that you must use a Gestor to finish it all off, but we did anyway and she charged us only 50 euros per car, not worth the hassle of running around to the Hacienda ourselves.
