The chimney pot is from the first house we bought in Lancashire there were two but the roofer broke one when he did the reslating and was bring them down to us We've taken it with us every time we've moved

We are only 10 minutes from 3 neighbouring towns, Castalla, Ibi and Onil. So plenty of tapas bars to choose from It's also nice to have neighbours but not too close. The house near to us belongs to the people we are renting from. Ours is the converted barn

Have you got your Christams decorations up yet!?

Yes we are happy here, it's a lovely location We will rent for a while until we are sure where we want to live. Got Christmas decorations up and I've added a picture of my tree as my avatar


Life on the urb - certainly NOT for us! It may suit some people but not what we wanted. Also quite a few problems regarding the builders and lack of paperwork etc, still to be sorted.

Do you have neighbors near of your house? I recommend that you don't live completely isolated, for precaution

Yes we have close neighbours, the people we are renting from are only steps away - our place is the converted barn to their house Also there is a Spanish family behind us with a large Alsation dog

Glad you've finally began to settle in Spain. I'm sorry that the urb life wasn't what you hoped for. You'll have to let us know what happened so we can all avoid it.
