It's been a long two weeks without the internet but finally got reconnected yesterday afternoon. Sharing a satellite link with a neighbour so it's slower but I don't mind so long as it works and I can chat to you lot again

The move went ok. The location is fabulous - out on the campo surrounded by almond and olive trees and sooooo quiet In the evening it's lovely to sit outside with a glass of wine and look out at the distant towns, lights twinkling in the distance and the castle of Castalla all lit up and looking as though it's floating in the night sky. Beautiful!!

back Lionda,Iv just posted on the weather thread,didn't see this it sounds lovely there,so pleased you have settled in and love it so much , and whats even better is that you are back on line so quick, brill your place reminds me of our stay in the Torrox campo back in Sept,it was so nice to sit out till the wee hours supping me whisky ( night cap,you understand )with peace and quite,well apart from the campo dogs nice to hear from you

Tried to take a picture but it didn't work very well. The light above the twinkling lights of the town is the castle. I'll have to try and get a better picture

Great to see you back online Lionda! Looking at those photos makes me sooooo jealous! I want to be out there now....not here, where we have just had the biggest, loudest thunderstorm and hailstones!! Bitterly cold winds, which are (and have been for over a week now) galeforce!
