Can anybody throw some light on the following rumour. It would seem that the town hall is now considering making legal, the properties that have been built without planning permission in Chiclana.

In the Diario de Cadiz it stated that the majority of homes will be made legal except for the ones that were in the middle of farming land. They are getting together a panel of experts to help the process through and the likely charge will be 2000 euros. We believe our house is legal but if it turned out not to be there won't be a problem as the above will apply to us as we are in a yellow zone and due to be urbanised within four years.
