Tui is spending most of the time killing all the mice that call our larder home, and the OH is taking her out.

Yeah its a nightmare being off work, but I can hardly draw air if I do anything.

I have to go to the hopital on Friday for x-rays as its not the first time I have had it.

I'm here still, last of the visitors go home this evening; give me a day or two to get the house straight I should be back sometime over the weekend.

I too have been thinking about Maryanne lately, I think I have seen her advert on the TV, well it looked like her. Whenever I go in Pto.Snta. Maria I walk around thinking could this be Maryanne, oh maybe this is Maryanne. Mrs Eddie is working now so what with family and house to care for I expect she is busy, busy, busy.

I've been quiet as i've been doing lots of hours recruiting new staff at work, and H.G is home so I've not been sitting squared eyed in front of here!!
Normal service resumed next week as H.G away again for a week!.

Did you stay in one of the cave houses (I think they are in Huescar)? OH and me fancy a weekend that way on, have you got any pictures you can post?

Yes we stayed in a cave house and were shown around five others which were all totally different. We will sort the photo's out in the next day or two and post them for you.

Welcome back - what did you think to the area? I know the caves are done out nice, but would you consider living in one?

You been to Huescar? If I'd known I could have introduced you to some of the locals.....like the English woman who's been locked in a bedroom with a goat!

The area has plains, lakes and mountains so plenty to see. There are thousands of cave houses around and they are all totally different. The one we stayed in has been designed as a holiday let so difficult to truthfully say what it would be like to live in one permanently although I did meet one person who does and loves it. I personally could not live in one permanently because of the lack of natural light. I tend to open all of the windows in the house first thing in the morning to let in fresh air and light and do not shut them until I go to bed.

I did not realise so many English lived in the area. One thing we noticed was how clearly the locals spoke Spanish because we had been told that the Andulucian accent was hard to understand. For us it was a treat to be able to hear Spanish spoken as in our area they speak Valenciano.

And you're right there's loads of English here....they're the ones walking round dragging their knuckles and taking interpreters every time they go for a dump. Then they miss the pan and blame the Spanish plumbers!

Did I mention that one English guy wanted to live in the traditional Spanish way so he bought a cave. Then he covered the whole frontage with astroturf!
I honestly could write a book on this place!
