I think you are missing the point here.

YOU CAN'T PUT 15KGS INTO EACH SUITCASE.YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED 15KGS TOTAL !!!!!

I would imagine that the five EMPTY suitcases will take you over your "Free" 15kg baggage allowance.
For every Kilo over 15kg (including the weight of 5 empty suitcases)
YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY £5.50 PER KILO
Weigh your empty cases and decide whether you think it's still worth taking everything.

He is right Lionda . Listen to him !! and check the weights or you may have a heart attack at the airport . then you die and then he doesnt get his golf clubs You no longer can post on here and we are all sad ..

Let's put it in simple terms.
Say each empty suitcase weighs 3kilos, that will be your baggage allowance ie 5x3kg =15kg "free" limit
You will then be asked to pay the following.
5 suitcases @ £10 each = £50
1 set of golf clubs @ £20.50

Say for example you then put 10 kilos of clothes etc into each suitcase.
This will add up to 50 kilos of EXCESS BAGGAGE!! at a cost of
50x £5.50 = £275

Giving a grand total of £345.50 To pay at the check in counter.

we arrived in Spain with just a suitcase & big hand luggage each..............on moving from flat to house 3 months later had to hire a van

tis ok, i will stick to the 3 cases seeing as you are all worried about me, there are 3 of us travelling so thats one each but can i still check the golf clubs in extra? HE MUST HAVE HIS GOLF CLUBS

sorry, yes lol there is me, my daughter and my friend, my friend is only coming for 5 days so she was only gonna take hand luggage so can take one of my cases as her own
phew i am relieved about the golf clubs.
anything i cant fit in i will leave here and get someone to bring out next time they come.
i cannot part with my stuff lol

When we came out in January the flights for the two of us were £70.00. Excess luggage over £100.00!!!!!!!

I don't want to worry you, but the only time we've brought golf clubs out with Ryanair, they lost them!

They did find them again a few days later so that's ok isn't it? Your OH wouldn't be too upset would he?

Now this is a strange thing - how come when waiting to collect your luggage off the carousel you usually see the same childs buggy and/or set of golf clubs going round and round and round and ..........could it be that they were put on the wrong flight

I expect our golf clubs went round and round for a while as we weren't there to meet them when they did eventually arrive.

Golf clubs are one thing but can you imagine managing without a pushchair for 3 days?
