Yesterday morning I was watching Sky News and the weather forecaster pointed to a weather system approaching Portugal. He pointed at some funny-looking squiggly lines and commented that he had never seen those before, with a worried look on his face.
Our local forecast shows a dramatic increase in wind speeds for Tuesday and Wednesday and I’ll be battening down the hatches before then.
At the moment it’s foggy and deadly calm.

Oh! Here was me thinking the threat had passed.
So, not a real hurricane, but a very real threat of F12 winds? Not sure I fancy that in a campervan
Since arriving in Santiago on January 7th, there have been just 4 dry days! Not looking like another dry day is coming soon either.

The tide is still rising so the Muelle de Portugal will be flooded! Not sure about the acces ways into Ayamonte, one more meter and you can forget about the Nortern entrance. I´ve also seen water coming up on the market grounds + it just started to rain!

I shot a short video of the first opening of the water shoot earlier this year .
Opening twice in one year has seemly never happened before.
Went out yesterday, in the sun, and took this photo. It is of the water leaving the shoot.
The forecast high winds for us has not happened yet. Still we have had a lot of rain today.
