Hi,
You can access the weather stats on aemet.es as well.
Living reasonably close to both and visited dozens of times, I think it's fair to say that if you would prefer 'Little England' in almost all respects then Albox is the winner, if you prefer an area that has not lost its Spanish ways and one where you will have to integrate with the Spanish (trust me , excellent people in that area) and share their lifestyle, its Huercal Overa. Depends on you, of course, but I like the challenge of living amongst the local Spanish.
Huercal can offer better facilities as well .( but no English pubs, Irish bars, Indian and Chinese restaurants and an 'Iceland ' store nearby!)

One has to note that aemet has no official data for that area (no weather stations). Most would probably complain about the summers rather than the winters these days, so better off testing the waters yourself.

The following links may be of use

https://www.wunderground.com/weather...ox/37.41,-2.13
Although differently named they appear to come from the same weather station

However if you check the following link to a map you will see there are more stations in the area.
Just check for one that suits you from https://www.wunderground.com/wunderm...777&lon=-1.123
