I.T.V. Málaga Poligono Guadalhorce. Pol. Ind. Guadalahorce. Tel: 952 23 50 02- 08.
You used to have to queue and wait, but now there is an appointment system, so best to phone up.
It is just over 30 €`s.

I think you will find that you will have to ring 902 575757 to make an appointment or you can do it here:

My last test cost €36.06 and I had to make the appointment about three weeks in advance of the expiry date in order to get it done in time.

Obviously it differs. Here in the Alicante Province I just paid approx 63 Euros (2 years). I just drove in took about 5 mins applying, 15 mins test and another 5 mins getting sticker. A normal garage will take your car to an ITV centre if you wish but you obviously have to pay them as well.

There are some ITV stations who will still take you straight off the street without an appointment if you arrive first thing in the morning and wait. They seem to operate a "first slot" from about 0800 to 1030 doing specials (including re-matriculations) and non-standard-coche testing (quads, motos, tractors, trailers, trucks) then the mainstream appointments get going from 1030 onwards. This is in one of my local stations so will not be representative of all and the very busy ones will insist on an appointment and in some cases there is a waiting list of months. As far as I know you can get your ITV from any ITV station, you do not have to go to your nearest local station.

To put your mind at ease scottishwildcat, I chose to go out "into the country" to find a less busy ITV station and they were very helpful and almost a pleasure to deal with.
