How long until the green credit card sized eu citizen card is invalid

Thanks for the replies everyone 
I'll bring copies of my work contract + nominas for proof of income just in case it comes up and copies of everything else of course. I don't have private health insurance, didn't think it's necessary here considering I have a social security number and I'm paying towards that (at least, it's on my nominas) but hopefully in any case they wont ask for that.
With regards to the don't go to the 'local police station', yeah I used completely the wrong word to describe it considering there is 'local' police as well as national police, meant local as in 'My local, national police station' (CNP).
Anyways, will mention here if I get any issues just in case it can help someone else needing to do the same thing. Thanks again
