Youmay have already done it but have you altered the default transponder to 12.129

and here i am...
first things to check:
is the dish on the correct satellite?
are the cable connections ok?
does the box actually work (have you tried it out on a neightbours dish for example)?
have you done the process to change the defualt transponder frequency (11778 is a bad frequency and the boxes look at these to get certain information from the satellites...changing it (service 401 select) to another (12129) helps boot the box up - if you dont know how to do this step by step printable guide is on my site along with a video showing how to do it...
have you tried another box on your system ? does that work?
being picky now but you will not get freesat on a sky receiver...you will only get freesat on a freesat receiver.....
freesat is just the name of th EPG - just like the Sky Guide on Sky receivers. so you will have problem getting freesat on a sky box if it was freesat you wanted!
you will get all the free to air (like BBC) channels on any digital satellite receiver.
you will get all the free to air and free to view (like FIVE) with a sky card and compatiable receiver.

Hi. Just read all the info re.Pace 2600. I've got one coming from Ebay, forwarded by my mother and it cost her an-arm-and-a leg for P&P, but there's no manual included. I've tried a few so-called downloaders for one but it seems all they want to do is rip me off left right and centre. Can anyone help me out here... please? A scanned copy would have me cheering and singing, I can tell you. By the way, I live in Morocco and there aint many of us Brit's down here. It's all Frogs and they're not really all that helpful. Perhaps they still dwell on Waterloo or Dunkirk, or sommit.
