Ditto!
Been thinking about you loads, Sam (and little Sam too, of course!) but just haven't been posting much.
I do hope the little fella is feeling more comfortable now, and that he's eating and sleeping OK.
Take good care,
Love Sam xx

Hi Chris and Sam,

Sam is doing ok. The thing is he is too hot and uncomfortable with his stitches. The little monkey has pulled one of them out, which didnt go down too well when I had to bathe them in iodine. He is fed up at the moment, but he is only young and in around 3 months he hopefully will be back to his normal self before all this happened. I love him to bits and hate seeing him go through this, but he is ok and not long now. He gets lots of cuddles and sleeps on the bed with us and plenty of fresh lamb and chicken. Spoilt rotten if you ask me lol. Crispygirl will be meeting him when we meet up in a couple of weeks so she can also let you know how he is. Its always nice to get someone elses opinion.

Thanks girls, its nice to chat about Sam like this.

I am really pleased Sammy is doing so well and you are in such good spirits! Like most of our pets, being spoilt and eating better than we do! It will be nice for you when Crispygirl comes to see you both too! Keep up the nursing, you are obviously doing a great job!:D Keep us all updated!

Hiya Sam,you sound a bit more positive today ,when they did Georges ops, they had to cut in different places on his leg,so he has two large scars, will they have to do this with Sammy? mind you once the hair grows back you can hardley notice. When it was hot last summer I bought him a paddling pool, threw his toys in and hoped he would follow, but he dident want to know, mind you when the O/Hs neice visited with her Alsation Charlie ,he made good use of it and loved it.
You are doing everything you can for him, bless him

Hi all! Long time no see so to speak. Hi Sam Parky, hope Sammy is still making goog progress, it sounded like he was doing really well from your last pm! I have attached a picture of poor ol' Joshey as he is in the wars now and has broken a bone in his foot. :( He has to leave the plaster on for 8 weeks. Not the best time of year to have to have a plaster on either is it?
He seems to be doing really well though and doesn't seem that bothered, other than the fact that he can't go "walkies". ;)
Hi Sam (Brisca), as promised, picture of my little baby boy! Tell Shiloh to stop putting ideas into his head, he is still using the "I am such a good boy and really would like a biscuit" look. Naturally he is getting his own way, how could you not?

Thanks Jean! :) I think Josh's leg is more of a worry to me, :blink:than him, but yes, it is difficult when they are used to going for such long walks EVERY day. I have let him in the garden without his lead becase he settles down better with this hot weather we are having. Had a couple of really hard days for him before. I went in the garden and did a bit of gardening and put a cane into the ground and looped his lead over it. But because he gets stiff, he has to get up to change possition frequently and is then either too far from where his lead is staked, or knocks his water bowl over! I tried to move him around the garden with me, but Then he was in the sun so he seems to be quite happy with our compromise! He has become VERY adept at going everywhere on 3 legs, using his injured leg just as a prop when he is stationary! Nevertheless, I am keeping a close eye on him!

I thought you might like to see our little girl, Sheba, who is really looking forward to coming over to Spain and practising all the spanish she has learnt!

She has been really poorly this week with an stomach upset. The bigger the dog the bigger the upset stomach!:p

LOL Ah! :(Hi Sally, Jandy took the words out of my mouth, Sheba is adorable! So sorry she has a tummy upset. :(Is she able to eat anything at all yet? Or are you starving her for a day or so? Freshly cooked tripe and boiled rice is very good if she is able to eat a little. Easy to digest for a delicate tum. They really love it too (even though it stinks the house out!);) Hope she feels better soon Sally, I will be thinking of you both!

Hi,

My Yorkshire terrier loved Spain from day-1.

We live in Estepona, near to the beach, so she gets lots of walks, loves digging in the sand and on deserted stretches of beach she adores running free.

If you are considering a move to Spain, don’t waste any time worrying about pets , they love it here, just the same as us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about the hot climate, as long as you provide your pet with adequate shade and fresh water, it will adapt to the heat.
