does anyone know if Spain has the equivelant of the Holland & Barrett shop where you can get herbal remedies?
Any help would be appreciated.

Most large towns have herbalists but not sure if there is a chain of them throughout Spain.

There's a chain called something like Natura House, I think, that I've seen many branches of. And also lots of independents.

Don't know of a chain but there are certainly several here in Torrevieja, some of which appear to be German owned judging by the names. Suspect there will be shops in almost every town.

I will vouch for that, I always found buying herbs very easy in Torrevieja!

Don't know about an equivalent of Holland & Barrett but there is a herbal shop in Benidorm in the Rincon de Loix area. It is on one of the streets across from the indoor market. Sorry I can't remember the street name but the 'Yorkshire Pride' is at the top of the street.

We have a few 'Parafarmacia's' around here that sell alternative remedies - I discovered this several years ago when I went into one thinking it was a pharmacy & asked for paracetamol. They explained the difference, and tried to sell me an alternative.

I didn't buy it because their remedy was something in excess of 5 euros, and I can buy paracetamol for about 80c!

Hi lynda32 I will pm you a good company they charge 2 quid postage to europe but well worth it , their stuff is great quality, just won awards beating H&B, Boots, and others..

Yes, please post it, I buy online from Holland and Barret, keeping an eye on the half price items. but have to wait till I go to UK to pick up my parcel of "bargains" from delivery address
