the flights are with first choice, they are excellent imho. xx
Me and posh stayed there in the Maldives about 8 years ago, its a long flight if your tall prepare for back ache, However when you get there its worth the pain, you have your own bungalow close to the sea you can also have a bungalow on stilts out in the ocean, you can also have a bunk up but we didn't bother we were on holiday Try to go all inclusive because drinks etc are really expensive and have to be brought in by seaplane or boat. We had a great holiday but a little boring after a few days in the evening but the beaches are beautiful you can walk around the island in about an hour there are also trips to another island which we went on and they take you trotting through the middle of an infants school I suppose the school benefit from a few quid each trip. We took pencils and colouring books etc. And gave them the maids for their kids because that sort of thing is expensive to them and hard to obtain. We have also been to Barbados that was nice, Las Vegas stayed here for a week www.bellagio.com We also went to Sandals Cuba that was a great holiday also Cancun stayed here two weeks

http://www.fiestamericana.com/portal...cion=0&page=-1 Been to Hawaii and most of the Spanish islands also diving in Sharm El Sheikh that was one of the best holidays stayed here http://sharmelsheikh.regency.hyatt.c...tels/index.jsp We upgraded to the regency club, you have your own private pool and service and club house as you get a few chavy russians there, From 5pm until about 10pm all drinks are free in the regency club house so the upgrade pays for itself.I hope you have a great holiday but would always advise go all inclusive in the 5 star hotels if they don't sell it at the point of booking upgrade when you get there because drinks and meals are very expensive over 2 weeks. Just before SD jumps in and tells me off I was only showing the choice and my travels no showing off

whats (or who) SD? you are not showing off, and if anyone accuses you of that its just cause they are jealous!
wow you've been to many amazing places then!!
Still torn with maldives- we do fancy it, and realise the flight will be sucky, (everytime we do long haul we say, no more! then off we go again!)- and yeah we booked all inclusive there, its the only way forward isnt it!!

We are tempted to go back to Cuba as last time we didnt do havana as we were v far away from it (guardalavaca). Or maybe Mexico again, we loved it there!
Whatever we do i think the most i can hadle in 10 hrs in the plane (i hate it! not scared, just get sooo restless and annoyed!).

Still torn, i do my own head in!!!!!!
really fancy the usa thing but not for honeymoon as we fancy relaxing non stop!!

If you do decide on Meeru and get the chance to go on one of the three day cruises - do take it. They quite often overbook the island and then they offer (for free) a three day cruise on a dhoni. We never took the chance and so wished we did. People that we met said it was absolutely fantastic. The oranised trips were expensive but well worth it. We also did as Posh did and went over the other island (also armed with gifts for the children)

really? i read in some meeru forum that the cruise isnt that good and they just do it to fob you off cause they dont have a room for you (i hear meeru has some terrible overbooking problems? did you experience this?).

I hadn't heard that the cruises were no good but I have heard that there is terrible overbooking but having said that when we went no problems at all. Mind you we only had the cheapest rooms and they were b****y expensive but I managed to walk the 20 metres to the beach and sea without any problems. We therefore were not on stilts and also had no plunge pool. I have to say all in all the best holiday of our life with Barbados coming a close second.
