Hiya! Help!

Hiya all,

Was reading an e-mail my friend sent me who doesn't know very much English (and me very little Spanish) and she said 'te doy una pista que me dio mi madre cuando estaba a punto de dar a luz: tira todas las bragazas gastadas que tengas y cÃ³mprate unas nuevas para el parto! espero que me entiendas wapa!'

I only understand the last part of this 'I hope you understand', so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hmph. By my reckoning this baby is already more than 3 months late. I don't think I'd be worrying about new knickers.
