A Spanish group B licence (cars) allows you to drive class A1 bikes (up to 125cc).

You must have held the licence for 3 years.

A UK car licence only allows you to drive up to 49cc.

EU law allows for mutual recognition of licences and says that where you have a discrepancy like this the "foreign" country MAY allow their rules to apply to the other licence when the licence holder is a resident.

I can find no specific mention in the relevant Spanish law about this situation one way or another.

The simplest solution may be to exchange your UK licence for a Spanish one.

UK provisional licences are not valid outside the UK whatever your motorcycle shop might think.

Are you talking about 49cc and under? Or bigger?

Need to remember that a CBT is only valid for two years!
