Help Needed

My PC has lost its power supply, it just cut out for no apparent reason and it wont switch on again. Iv'e checked the power cable and fuse and they are both OK. Any suggestions anybody ????.

I think that they are in your neck of the woods.
Decent ones start around £30, unplug from the mains, 2 screws at the back of the case to remove, then 4 screws holding the power supply. Make a note of all the connections, and hey presto!
Ignore the cheap value stuff, this is a good one

Ps. DO NOT EVER be tempted to take a power supply apart!!! They hold quite a kick for quite a while after they are switched off!!!!!

Power supply is easy to change. Have a look at

I think that they are in your neck of the woods.
Decent ones start around £30, unplug from the mains, 2 screws at the back of the case to remove, then 4 screws holding the power supply. Make a note of all the connections, and hey presto!

mine did this the oteehr day, very strange - we had a brief off/on power cut and the pc wouldnt turn back on - so switched it off at the mains and left it for a few minutes, turned it back on and it was fine, so if you havent tried that already......
