We are not far from Fuengirola, personally would not live in the town itself, there are lots of places nearby and "up the hills" to speak, but not all on a bus route, also the main train line runs along the coast, so if you need to be near train line or on bus route you will have to do your homework. Do not forget, the train line ends at Fuengirola, so would have to look from there along towards Malaga, not Marbella ! Good Luck

My experience of Fuengirola goes back to 1974 so I think anything I could tell you would be slightly outdated.

Its a lovely little fishing village with a town square and small weekly market

Thanks for that i will have a car but i was a bit worried about where i was allowed to park it for any length of time i know that sounds stupid, but when you have to think about these things on your own. I would quite like to live just out side . where should i head for.
