i've been living in Javea officially since winter last year but spent the summer around the Costa Blanca area. I am not able to give you as much of a viewpoint as others on this forum as they have been here longer, but I really enjoying living in Javea. In the summer you get alot of tourists but having the town nearby means there are lots of shops and amenities when needed. Denia and Moraria are also very nice, picturesque places with a good range of shops. It is a lot greener than many of the other parts of Spain which is nice. Anyone else on the forum care to share their viewpoint?

I go there fairly regularly .. in fact tonight I will be there at the Photography Club. It's a nice enough place for sure, but I much prefer the port area. I'm not sure if I would live there, because it doesnt fit what we want.
Gandia doesnt get a mention very often. Its a nice place with pedestrian shopping areas, and the tree lined paseo, nice restaurants (if you search for them) and bars. Concerts in the summer which are good in the Culture Centre

Couldn't agree more. Gandia has a great feel to it and has improved so much over the recent years whilst retaining its Spanishness.
