I am thinking of getting some guttering on the house in advance of the rains.
Has anyone any experience of cost assocaited with said project.
Cost per metre or x Euros for a house etc...
DIY or via company.
Thanks in advance as usual

Our property is a large villa in the campo. We had to have 4 down spouts. I've no idea how many meters of guttering they used but I know it was a lot.
The whole price fitted (taking 2 days) was 1750 euro inc. IVA

Several questions…Where is your house? And what material do you want to use?
We have been advised that plastic does not last long and can get destroyed in a good hail stone storm!

God, another of my soapboxes. ... I hope you're planning to save the rain you catch? Don't think it cost anything like 1750, but I think plastic guttering & downpiping is the only way to go unless you're happy about literally shinning up drainpipes to paint once every 18months or so?
Re the rain - this house, like many, is some 150 or more years old but no-one before us had saved the water. We've now got 8 1000litre stillages & I know from having watched it happen that in one rainstorm (not as big as happened recently) you can fill ALL of them from scratch.

I thought you were remarking on my post...
