Good Clothes Shops
#1
Hi
Just wondering if anybody can recommend any good clothing chains with good quality stuff but not designer prices. On a recent visit I found a lot of the shops not to be brilliant quality and other designer boutiques a little overpriced. Will be living near Granada is there any chains similar to M & S or Matalan especially for kids or perhaps mail order.
Thanks
Helen

They have all the designer stuff but they also have their own range of clothes which are good quality and not overpriced.

I find the modern clothes shops like Mango and Zahara cater for the tiny Spanish girls and their size 12 are nowhere near a UK 12. If there is anything I really want I get it from M&S online and have it sent to someone in the UK who may be coming over on a visit. I am back in the UK tomorrow and will be stocking up.

I have only been to Granada once and can't remeber exactly what they have but think it was pretty much same as Malaga. We have Dunnes Stores which is a cheap version of M&S (Scottish chain I think). They have kids stuff and a home section and the price tags have Euro and Pound prices which is handy when you're still getting used to the currency conversion. My fave shops are Bershka (trendy stuff but quite cheap), Sfera - same and Pull and Bear. We also have Mango, Benetton, Etam, Zara etc. I miss H&M and most of all Primark but then I'm a bargain lover. Happy shopping!

Thanks for your replies yes I have seen Dunnes Stores from the motorway in Malaga not sure if they have one in Granada I will have a look next time i am over. I agree about the small sizes though in the boutiques. Will have to shop around to find what suits. Prices are not much different to UK though in the Cities.
