Sharp intake of breath when ours told me.... 8€. But she does do childcare for a living and is adult, and is Spanish which for me is infinitely preferable (I did get her by recommendation!) because 8yo gets Spanish at home!

On our last and only night out, we paid 10 euros per hour.

But she did have to look after 4 young children and she was a proper canguro.

There are quite stict guidlines for baby sitting.....which comply with the EU rule. 1765 section A8

You have to take into consideration who is baby sitting for who (what age)

For example if I were to baby sit, for a fit 18 year old blonde girl I would charge a lot less (maybe free) than for looking after a spoilt 9 year old boy.
:rofl::rofl:

I honestly have no idea but another solution to the baby sitter, is a sleep over, arrange for them to have a sleep over in a friends on the nigh that you want to go out and have one a your place on another night.... Depending on the ages and the friends it might work.......

I thought 2 people have said already? Looking on the Spanish forums it looks like the rate is between 7-11 euros per hour depending on where you live and how many children they have to look after.
