In the GOOD OLD DAYS when Britain used to build ships, then new tankers outbound to the Gulf would deliver water to Gibraltar.

I like it even though it does smell bad and a bit dirty. I would like to go back in March and go and see the monkeys. xx

thats the spirit! Yep the rocks not perfect by any means, but its INTERESTING and has history. I dont know maybe as gib remind me a bit of Plymouth, i dont know, but as i have said previously, its not perfect, depends on what you make of it and your own circumstances

Only the Gibraltarians like this hole, everyone else who works here that I know tolerate the place, but would never claim it is nice, or anything like that in all honesty!
I'm not sure what you like about Gibraltar, but whatever it is, good for you. Personally, and everyone I know who spends a fair amount of time here, will tell you it is a horrible, grubby little place run by little hitlers and wannabee playboys!!

The article says it was the other way around

In 1949, there was talk about Point Roberts seceding from the USA and joining Canada. By 1973 there were tensions between the American and Canadian residents of Point Roberts. The Americans had threatened to cut off the Canadians' water supply, and hung up signs saying "Canadians Go Home." [7]

Not fond of sausages and certainly not Walls ones.

However Fish n chips " Roy's Cod Plaice" in Casemates Square is well worth a visit.
