I really look forward to this time of year with the arrival of spring fruit and vegetables in the uk.
I have recently had my first Jersey Royals of the year, they are fantastic.

My real question is what are the traditional seasonal vegetables of Spain?
I really do not have a clue.

I also normally buy them at Mercadonna but have now found that the little grocers around the corner is selling large, juicy sweet ones. So instead of buying them once a week when we drive over to the next town we are having them more often.

Has anyone ever had pepper on their strawberries, I knew people in Cornwall who always did and I never thought to ask them why.

Rosemary

yes!!! really makes for a different taste, as does balsamic vinegar

I still prefer cream or vanilla ice cream though

or both;)

As I've said, lemon juice makes underripe strawberries taste riper, and overripe ones taste less overripe.

Question is, how does it know?
