Focus on Monte Francisco (MF)
We drove past MF around midnight on Saturday....
... there were loads of cars and a beer tent....
I was told that each weekend in the evening in Saturday and Sunday there is an event, music etc etc....
There are also 4 resto's and bars (+ more) serving amazing value food and drink.
We went there yesterday in a taxi and had a few beers at the terrace of the bar on the roundabout... (we call 'old Luis' - he was there before the new resto. ) . 6 beers and 3 glasses of wine.... a tad LESS THAN 8 euros. Yes, that is EIGHT = huit =acht = ocho (ouch)
The taxi fare was paid in the pre-lunch drinks alone!!!
Then a wonderful boozy lunch at Luis - again amazing value...
I think we are so amazingly fortunate to have something like Monte Francisco so close to home.... Taxi fare is the same as Ayamonte.
The guy at the 'old Luis' bar speaks good English, and has a menu do (dal) dia for 8 euros. We plan to go there for a drink before the weekends and check out whats on in the evenings.
Luis is doing a full evening 3 course menu Friday and Saturday evenings for 12:50.. resto called 'Lupi': Also he is renovating the resto.... there will be a wonderful new terrace/decking area soon, outside.
Great + cheap day/night out - even without the evening entertainment!!
GO FOR IT

You should have a word with Luis, if we arrive and say "Jon" sent us we could get 10% off the bill or complementary drink !
I'm over in mid sept again- will definitely be checking it out with my better half !
Regards
