Just getting out for a solo walk would be a godsend in my view.

Yes, I agree - I live in a small village with easy access to the mountains (I don't have a dog) and it is frustrating not to be able to get some exercise.
But I suppose there has to be one rule for all.
Maybe soon with a phased end to the lockdown.

I am in exactly the same position. Couldn't agree more we must follow the guidance we are given.

Yes I heard something similar. I think they've got a problem with the May 1 bank holiday falling on a Friday. If they start relaxing restrictions too much the week before, well you know what's going to happen...

I'm sure some restrictions will continue for some time dependant on various factors. However I would think by the end of current period 26 April they will at least start lessening things to some extent if the peak is passed and cases decline. It's not just boredom but people's lively hoods. It has to be controlled of course but as much as there are dangers re virus the government and advisors will be looking at every factor , financial mental health everything. If they get it wrong then people will disobey and then chaos along probably with second wave of infections. We have to follow the guidance which must be sensible for the sake of everyone.

It's more obvious where I am as there seems to be a long-term project of resurfacing every road going on. When the lockdown started the bars, non-food shops etc closed but these works continued and only stopped when the state of alarm was announced. Presumably 26th April, the end of the state of alarm, is when these people can go back to work, but the bars etc will remain close while the general lockdown continues.

Just quick question re lockdown. What's the situation with dentists? I could do to see one as have badly cracked a tooth which I think will need to come out ASAP.
