How many ex-pats have a knowledge of First Aid?
If "yes", how much knowledge? If "no", why not?

Well done, genegenie, continue the good work!
I would expect that to be part of your job description. Anyone else, outside of the medical/emergency services, who has First Aid training/knowledge?

I had to have First Aid at work last year when I employed people.
Do people realise however that it needs to be refreshed ever so often to keep it up to date?

However, as you say, it is ingrained in your mind after so many years. Since 2006, I believe the CPR ratio has changed from 15 chest compressions to 2 rescue breaths, to 30:2.
Having said all that, a safe response to any first aid situation is better than none at all.
P.S. I see others have posted, too. Well done, KO and RM!
