Perhaps Facebook is better, everyone can join in? So far today I have had a dozen aphorisms posing as original thought, the chance to change my avatar to a giraffe (couldn't resist), some weird political stuff, a call to 'oust' our mayoress, some pictures of friends from here and there, some answers to my own posts and a picture of a quite adorable kitten.

In Spain? No, but just had some bullfight pix, more aphorisms, a picture of me with a horse (dashing, wish I could share it), a Spanish joke about sex and a rather horrible baby video.

For someone who doesn´t like telephones, I keep in touch with family and friends mostly through FB. I see no harm in it. The odd person who has repeatedly posted pictures, comments and such like which offend, are blocked. Quite simple really and at times, really quite funny

I find FB very useful mainly for displaying photos that I take of village events. We are a small agricultural village and I am very surprised at the number of people here on FB. I have my own website but use it less and less because people like to 'like' and banter and rib and 'guapaaaa' each other about their fotos. Woe betide me if I delay posting pictures after an event. Cars stop on the street "Las fotos - ¿cuándo?"
Family and friends in UK and Holland get a flavour of our life here and can identify with many people who they got to know on visits. It can be a very useful resource.

I don't indulge in idle banter, never accept friends request unless I know them or we have similar interests, used sensibly it's very useful.

Good question.
A few of us opened our pages at the same time.
I do go on it look, but I haven´t posted anything on it for nearly 2 years, but it just carries on without my input.
I look at it like a kitchen appliance or a footspa, loads of people have them, they don´t use them, they may look at them once in a while and give them a bit of a dust, but we don´t throw thow them away JUST IN CASE.......................
Good mornng and how are things in Italy?
Good morning, thanks for the reply. Things in Italy are the usual mickey mouse confusion.ciao for now,
