Farm quad bikes
In the UK farm quad bikes can be registered as "agricultural" vehicles much like a tractor and as such are not required to have an mot or tax but have limited road use. And can be used with red diesel.
Can anyone tell me if the same or similar happens in Spain ?

Don't know about quad bikes but tractors here have to have an ITV (MOT). (and large trailers)
Red diesel rules have changed recently much to my annoyance. I used to use about 80 litres a year but now I believe you have to be using about a 1000 litres a year or more to be able to claim back the discount. It doesn't affect me now as my usage per annum is nil.

Re: Farm quad bikes
Thanks for the info. A couple of people have said they just go to there local petrol station and get the red diesel. So long as it's a local garage and they know you it's not a problem. And of course if you have a boat you can get it from the local marina.
So tractors need an Itv. I would assume that goes for all powered agricultural vehicles including Atv quads.
Cheers.
