But other religions are also to blame for past and present horrors, a particularly big one tells its followers to kill infidels (non-believers). Like me. Why should they want to kill me because I don‘t share their beliefs? And us Brits, collectively, cleared two whole continents of its native people because the American Indians and the Australian Aboriginals didn’t share our religion and worshipped things like trees and rocks, and God knows what else. The religious want to kill you because you mock them and degrade them by refusing to believe their ridiculous beliefs. I don't think we did so much damage to the aboriginals because they didn't believe in what we did, but rather because they were seen as inferior and not deserving of any consideration whatsoever. |

Although I don’t believe in any of that nonsense, if the Lady calls on me to put her sword on my shoulder, I will be there, and I expect you to be a bit more respectful after that. It may not happen. |

You degrade the high opinion they have of themselves. As for me, I'd love to see the day that the last king is strangled with the guts of the last priest. I liked what Terry Pratchett wrote. 'Humans have a distressing tendancy to bend at the knee.' |
