.. it gets worse too when I have a glass of wine or two.. can't seem to get a foundation that will stay on when I sweat in this heat, so usually just don't go out.. what a bummer.
I also can't do a dam thing with my hair here in spain. Looks like I've had a fright, so if anyone can recommend a good hair product too, I'd be very grateful.

I recommend Mercadonna hair products, I find their range is extensive, not sure which one would be best for your hair though. Lynnxa, if I remember rightly said that a professional hairdresser that she knows only uses the Mercadonna range of hair products.

wonder if it would stop my face from being so red... I am on weird medication which affects my face... My body is lovely and tanned but every time I go out someone mentions my red face

The Instituto Español do a great range of body lotions, including aloe vera and avena (oatmeal). Very good value from any farmacia, only €2.50 for a great big bottle of Avena which lasts me six months. PS I'm not on commission!

The Spanish girls used to use olive oil, I guess that's similar? These days it all comes from Loreal!

I now use the Monogotas Vainilla body lotion from Mercadona (€1.65) and find it very good. When we first moved here I couldn't find vanilla scented lotion anywhere so had to stock up on trips back to the UK, but I can now use that space (and weight) in my suitcase for something else!

I've seen more than one brand of cocoa butter body lotion/cream stocked in our local Primor shop.

I didn't realise Mercadona did the vanilla (& coco) bodylotion & cologne, although I have used the shower gel - I just checked the online site & I'll get some on my next order

If you like perfume with some vanilla, get someone to treat you to a bottle of Shalimar by Guerlain - I've been using it since I was 18 and have never found anything I like better.
